Alice follows a watch-carrying White Rabbit into a deep hole

Alice followed a watch-carrying White Rabbit into a hole while her sister rested by the river. She had never seen a rabbit use a watch before.

Alice landed in a hall where a golden key opened a tiny door to a garden, but she was too big to enter. The White Rabbit vanished around a corner before she could ask him where she was.

Alice drank from a bottle marked “DRINK ME” and shrank, but the garden key remained on the table above her. She could see the door yet could not reach the key.

Alice cried a pool of tears because the changes made the garden seem farther away. The White Rabbit returned, dropped his gloves and fan, and ran off when she spoke.

Alice swam through the pool with a Mouse and several birds and animals. She tried to talk to the Mouse but upset him by speaking fondly of her cat Dinah.

A Dodo led a running race to dry everyone off, then declared that all had won and should receive prizes. Alice gave away sweets from her pocket.
